Actually white skin gives europeans a reproductive edge on dark skins. In cold climates white skin assists in the absorption of more of the suns rays. An amount of sun is needed for the body to process vitamin K. Blacks need to take vitamin k supplements in colder climates since their bodies cannot absorb as much of the sun’s rays. Vitamin K is nutrient that prevents spina bifida in infants born to pregnant women.
